I have a Saving Bank Account. How can I Purchase & Sell Shares online. Please answer in detail.?

Dear I think you cannot purchase or sell shares online through your saving account. You must have demate account. Demate account is one type of authorised account from stock exchange from which you can trade your shares and stock exchange can keep watch on it also. So, open demate account if you want to trade in shares.

Using saving account for purchase & Sell shares online is possible subject to certain conditions. Linking your Saving account to online trading account would solve the issues. Find below few service providers who can help you in this.

You need to open a brokerage account to trade stocks. I think all banks would have something like that.

Also their are many other brokers to choose from. Here is a list of a few.

I don't think you can do that with a savings account. You need a demat account

Dear, you can't buy shares from saving account, you must be open De-mate account for buy shares & Demate & Trading account for hold them, contract with any brokage house, bank for de-mate trading account, you, need your ID proff, Residence Proof, Pan Card & Rs. 500-1000 ( Fee for open a/c ) cheque for open a account, after open your account you can purchase shares, then broker charges with you only brokrage.

U need to open a demat a/c and trading a/c. Many popular banks can interlink ur existing savings a/c to these a/c. Check with your bank for the details.
