Look here, the Queen herself is a Londoner so no prob there then, just don't do too much of the old cockney ryming slang, them arrabs won't be impressed. Con them as much as you can, don't drink, leave the camels alone, eat figs dates and eyeballs mint tea and if all else fails buy some paper and glue and start up a sandpaper business. Good luck me ole china

Surely the whole idea of a presence in Dubai is to sell local stocks, Far Eastern stocks. I suppose to complete the service it may be feasible. Most london brokers out there (Hichens springs to mind) also have offices in London

If you are selling to the uk whats the problem?

I would not touch a stockbroker selling to me from Dubai, with a barge pole. Unless his charges were half of those I am paying here, had a sub office in London and a major UK registered bank as guarantor. Then I might accept a 3-month free trial.

sorry why would i buy UK company stocks from Dubai.

sounds dodgy to me recent cases of people setting up in Florida and spain to sell useless uk stocks of comapnies with no value to gullable uk residents. The offshore status allows exemption from prosecution.

melissa
If you're selling UK stocks to people living in Dubai, then that could be fine. There are many companies doing similar things already. Some are dodgy though.

If you're selling UK stocks to UK residents, but doing it from Dubai, then that sounds fishy.

Max Power
Sounds like a boiler room set up to me , why are the company based in Dubai , when targeting UK residents with UK stock ?
