A managed forex account can almost always make 1.80% ROI in a month. This might work for you considering the fact that the value of the USDollar is expected to fall some more in the coming months.

Hope this helps.

I would go for low risk investments like a CD. Or you can also buy some stocks or bonds. You can also participate in some programs that lends to people with interest better than the bank's. Government T-bills are not recommended right now since the economy is not that good.

I would not go into the market with a small amount of funds. You don't have a very great margin for error. My advice would be to deposit the funds in a certificate of deposit since we are past July 1, 2008 for six months and have the interest income realized in 2009. If you are going to begin investing, I would save additional money and begin in 2009. You could miss a major bounce or you could miss a big collapse in the general markets. Not many stock pickers are good enough to beat a market correction. It is impossible for an investor with a seven figure portfolio to what he will earn in one month. The market is not an easy way to make money. It is not Texas Hold'em Poker.

Send it to me. At the end of the month, I'll send it back to you along with 200% interest. Promise.

My opinion only......If I had $12,000 I would hang on to it for dear life, especially the way the economy is in the US right now.l

i wouldn't invest anything right now, i'd trade. meaning buy and let go don't hold

the market is going down

if you know more you can learn to buy put options or short the stocks. that's how u make money while market is going down

You shouldnt invest. Better to trade. I would trade natural gas stocks. for example, if there is a in the natural gas sector, then you should buy and sell it for quick profit. beware: bears make money, bulls make money, pig get slaughtered
