I lost my entire life savings and inheritance of $400,000 in the stock market mostly in SIRI?
Why I havent killed myself God only knows.

Now I'm stuck with 32,000 shares of SIRI at $0.45 a share when it was around $10 just 3 years ago.

Will SIRI ever go back up to $10

I guess you learned the hard way that diversification is important. Your stock has gone down 95%--that's worse than the mutual funds that have gone down 50%,

That sucks!!! Try to look on the bright side that you didn't actually work for it and lost it. I had my son take out his $12000.00 in bank and put it in mutual funds 2 years ago and lost 3000. of his own money ! I know it's not 400,000. but he's 22 and worked hard for it. My husband called his instition to put his money from mutual funds at work into a Money Market and the lady told him a guy called in yesterday and lost his whole life's savings of 90,000. I think these bankers and the corporations have no morals and could care less about you and me. I don't know what SIRI is but I'm going to look it up. Good luck. I think if wall street crashed back in 1929 and it came around this will too, just hope it doesn't take 20 years.

It's devasting isn't it. I'm so sorry. I'm there with you. What makes me the angriest is that I sacrificed for my savings! And now it is gone.
My warmest wishes for a brighter future.

Listen.................money is just money...........You shouldnt even joke about taking your life after losing in the stock market. I heard recently someone just took their life and took his family with him because he lost money in the stock market.....(heard in happened in California)...Losing money is an experience and if you take what you learned and apply it, youll make that money back and more in no time.

its going to continue to go down but eventually it will rise again after the economy reboots itself

Siri has a great possibility of going back up in value if the company can get a loan next year that it will need to continue operations. I believe the stock should have a target price of $3-4 in the next few years and then take off after that. The company will basically be a monopoly.

Karoly
No one can ever predict that.

However you look the fundamentals of SIRI, and see if it is likely to stay afloat and survive these turbulent times. If it can probably it may turn around. Any way dont panick sell as in these times.

All the best.

Thats exactly why we talk about becoming your own banker. It keeps your money safe while growing. Most people think creating wealth is about risk, but its not.
