The only way you're going to make that amount of money is if you have a lot of money to begin with to invest. You can't expect to make 100k in 5 years from $1,000.
If you do have a lot, or any, the best way to go is to study up on investing and try investing in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Do enough research beforehand before you jump into anything because you could lose money. |

this may seem easy but one of the best ways to start financial independence is save. save at least one-half of all money you get including wages, birthday gifts, etc. That's the first thing.
Secondly, if you have the entrepreneurial spirit, you can find any number of ways to start your own business and grow it even when you are young. in fact, your age is an asset in regard to sales because a lot of people will buy from you because it's "cute". Don't let that get to you! Take "cute" to the bank every week and deposit it. Whether you have your own lawn business (and I am talking about getting to the point where you employ others) or make art work and greeting cards to sell to stores, just remember the basic principles that make people successful: give your customers good hard honest work and be reliable, give a unique quality product, and don't spend the money you make unless it is to invest in something that will make you more money.
You are very smart to even think of this at your age. You will be wildly successful in whatever career path you choose. Best wishes. |

Your not going to like this because im a total stranger and for all you know could be anyone but trust me in order for your dream's to come true (in your case become rich at a young age) you need to wake up. Im 17 and used to think like you, I wanted to be a millionaire by 21. Which I can now see is very unlikely to happen. Sure it's technically possible but to do it would be complete luck, you'd need to invest in the next "e-bay" or "microsoft" before they go public which no one on Yahoo answers can tell you how to do. No one on this Earth can tell you how to invest and make a million in a couple of years especially considering your initial capital is probably like $100. If you want to become a millionaire you need to be intelligent and realistic. You also need to stop asking people on Yahoo answers how to do it because trust me we dont know. Go stand outside Beverly Hill's country club or Wall Street and ask the guys climbing into there bugatti veyrons, ferrari enzo's etc because there the guy's who have the knowledge to answer your question. And i think you'll find few are younger than 35. |
