the guy who died has now other family and he asked me to be next to kin . he has not asked for any account info yet just for phone # what does barrister mean to
Don't respond! They will try to steal money from you. They are swindlers.
This is similar to the classic Nigerian scam - http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeria.asp
By the way, a barrister is a kind of lawyer in the British legal system. Unlike in the U.S., the British system distinguishes between lawyers whose main function is to appear in court (barristers, because they appear before the "bar") and lawyers who primarily do other things (solicitors).

I would go for it, whatcha got to lose. Make sure you discuss your precentage and be sure you write everyone's name down. In case he wants to run off with all the money....... I would make it clear that I would report him if that was the case.
Go for it......... and when you get rich...... don't forget your poor sister on the other side of the country ;o)
