First have a Bank account, them sign up with a stock trading company eg. Ameritrade.

Now look around the house, what do you buy the most of? Or see what your parents buy the most of, perhaps you would like to buy a few shares of that company.

There is really no way to tell you to buy this stock or that.
You really need to buy Standard and Poor stock guide and get your self a subscription to Investors Daily or the WSJ

Once you get started I always liked to buy a stock that was going to split.

FORGET DAY TRADING

Good Luck

Common Sense
If you don't take some time to read several books.... you'll have the privledge of learning by making the common (costly)mistakes most people make. Be smart. Do this right.

first thing ... read books and learn all about trading/investing.
you meet the age requirements so no worries there. After you learn all about it from books and websites, magazines etc. sign up with a broker and link your bank account so you can add the funds you need to begin trading.

How? Educate yourself. Ask yourself some basic questions. Why am I am investing (is it for your retirement, to put money down on a house, or whatever). Define the length of time you will be investing (by this I mean determine how long you will be investing for). From there, you can determine what types of risks you would be willing to take. Learn about the different types of investments that may help you meet your risks and goals. The site below should help you tremendously.

To answer your question about registration, there is no such thing, basically, you have to invest with what is called a brokerage firm. They have liscensed people that buy on your behalf. Some places like this are Scottrade, or even your local bank for other types of short term investments. You only need be 18 to invest with these firms or your bank. Good luck!

I believe u have to find a broker first, they would direct you where to open a bank account, usually a settlement account, legally 18y.o. is the minimum so you wouldn't have a problem with that. Good luck!
