Low brokerage should not be the only basis for selecting a broker for online trading.
Brokerage varies from client to client depending on their turnover.You can get a bargain if you trade actively,whoever the broker is.Reliance money is offering slab based brokerage unlike other brokerages which charge you some percentage of your turnover.It's demat charges are almost nil as it is charging only 50rs per year.
Other things that you have to consider for online trading are:
Is the broker providing you a live streaming (quotes) screen?
Do they provide you online research.
Inquire about the customer service of the broker you want to trade with.Whether they are providing satisfactory service or not?
Fund transfers:Online transfers from and to the account.Enquire whether they are providing it or not.
For active traders streaming quotes are a necessity.You also need a broadband connection for streaming quotes,a dial-up wont' be of any use. |
