If you have a time horizon of 5 years or more anytime is good to enter the share market.Well 10K now will be good investment provided u wait for few more years.

For share market regular systematic investments with a long time frame is the key.if u dont know anything better invest thro Mutual Funda.

chk out some sites like moneycontrol, yahoo finance, raagvamdatt etc for more details..

Its a good decision to invest in the stock market right now. But, don't invest your hard earned money at a time in the market. Now the stocks are available at discounted price and start selecting good stocks which have strong fundamentals and importantly companies having huge cash reserves. Invest in phases followed by stock market dips. You are expected decent returns i.e., form 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2009.

Recommended picks:

ITC
NTPC
SUN PHARMA
RANBAXY
L&T
SBI
HDFC Bank (long term)
AXIS Bank ( long term)
Aban offshore
Reliance Communications
Reliance Industies Limited - RIL (ever green)
Punj Llyod
Zee news
Andhra Bank
Marico
Chambal Fertilizers
RNRL
Bank of Baroda
Infosys (Short term)

Selected companies who are leaders in their respective segments.

happy investing!

Yes this is the right time to invest in stock market in small lots. Buy nifty shares now which have already reached almost bottom line. Eg: Reliance, L&T, SBI, Infosys etc

After the recent crashes, it is the right time to invest in stock market. Invest in good Large cap stocks. But you have to have a 1-3 yrs of investment horizon

Maverick
Yeah. This is the right time to invest in the stock market. There are various scrips which have reached to their bottom. Even the market may or may not have reached the bottom, they are certain scrips which have already reached its bottom and are available at cheap rates. Invest in those stocks. Investing is always good for any individuals.
The thing is that in which term you are going to invest. Is it for long term or short term? if long term go for the major companies and and you could find many sites suggesting you on the investment. I think this is the right time to invest as you are aware that the stock prices are the least and invest for at least a year or more to reap profits.

Surf the below sites for better results.
