I want to open demat + online a/c..Pls help?
i am a begginer..and a small investor..i m confused in selecting a firm with which i can have fast online share trading and which is secure and also whose charges are economical.
better you do manually first(offline),
after some expierence go for online.
Reliance money is good, They charge Rs. 750/-.
But, they are tied up with Axis bank. Axis asks Rs. 5000/- minimum balance. If u can, Reliance Money is really good.
Geojit is also good, they take only Rs. 275+100 for demat+online/offline Trading account.
Their customer care response is good.
I am having a/c with Geojit.
All the best!!!!

Hi,
First decide whether u r going to do investments i.e. delivery based more rather than Trading or vice versa. If u r more to delivery do not worry about the charges as more or less every1 charges same. But if u r doing Trading and that to heavily then charges may come into picture.
I would suggest go for Religare (Ranbaxy group) which provides resonable service and that to with normal charges around. ICICI direct is also good and it provides a saving bank accnt if u don`t have one. Reliance money is very good for the heavy trader but for normal ones it comes equal to other firms.
But again I would suggest to decide on the basis of your needs rather than trapping into unuseful scheme of any of the firm.

Dont start till you get rid of your confusion.
In trading you have to take fast and quick decisions and one should have sound knoweledge about the stocks and firms.
I just read today a article. 80-90% investors lose money.
So it is game of strong knowedged persons. One should be strong enough .
Please learn more and enter when you are confident.
