Virtually every financial institution or brokerage has their own secure website. Inquire how to set it up where you stash your $$$, and then follow it.

If you asking me than I told you that never disclose financial information to any web site.
I'm using Moneycontrol.com Portfolio management service to tracking my investment but never disclose my folio no. coz I know that moneycontrol.com sharing that information with financial institution for marketing purpose. And I'm geting some good Marketing calls & email thru them but it is very risky that somebody will know that your personal folio or account no.
so never disclose any type of personal information to anywhere. just got your folio. information from there.....

Don't. Find a brokerage house like TD Ameritrade where they will track it in the portfolio. You have some assurance of security.

Why do you want to put Folio No in public place?
It might be problematic in future because with your Folio No. your investment and other personal details could be fetched easily.

Tracking investments does not require Folio nos. Is this for Stocks or Mutual funds? In either case you can just add all your holdings, stocks/mutual funds to a portfolio management system and track the performance. Most websites these days have free portfolio trackers that track your performance.
For this you only need all the stocks that you invested in. No need for even your name, you could use some arbitrary name.
You may check out http://portfolio.dlngroup.com that is an easy way to track your investments.
