Talk with a financial consultant rather than securing an answer on Yahoo Answers. You might want to talk with one from Wells Fargo (they have been very consistent when I've used them) and from another financial services firm so that you can compare your options. Be careful of anything that sounds too good to be true. Good Luck. |

No one reading this post can answer your question properly at this point. There a lots of questions that need to be asked of you first. The best person to ask you those questions would be a professional financial advisor. The advisor would then take your answers and be able to create an investment strategy for you. |

First pay off any credit card debt or other high interest or nondeductible loans.
After that it depends on how you feel about risk. If you're completely risk averse CD's may be a good option. Or if you dont need the money for about ten years indexed mutual funds. Or a combination of stock and bond funds. |

The best way to invest it would be to elminate some of your debt (if you have any) to improve cash flow.
If you feel you must invest it,I would dollar cost average it into a "Morningstar" 5-star rate fund. By dollar cost averaging, I mean invest $7,500 every month or every few months till fully invested. |
