If Day Trading is injurious to Finacial Health, should it not be banned?

This is a warning and knowing fully well that if you follow this path your chances of getting lost is very bright and even if you go to that path and come out with success how it can be banned. Just take the example of cigarette as it is written on it that smoking is injurious to health but how many people follow it still it cannot be banned only restrictions can be imposed. Similarly Gambling, batting, prostitution etc are this category but cannot be banned.

Stopping the day trading would create widespread indignation and financial problems. There would be hunger strikes and will cause lot of problems to the traders who earn money by day trading.

no, because i think that day trading provides liquidity to the market.

Day trading is stupid, but why do you think the govt can or should ban stupidity? It's just not possible.

Day trading isn't injurious to financial health when done right. It takes a lot of money to make a good amount on. Jim Cramer is notorious for being a day trader. he's worth millions.

Basicly day trading is take small gains on several thousand shares of stocks bought and sold in a small amount of time rather then selling for big gains on a few hundred shares over the course of a longer period of time.

it's a lot easier to sell stocks for one cent more then you bought then it is a few dollars. The difference is in the ammount of shares sold.

lottery is also injurious to financial health, but it can not be banned. It is very source of income for Govt, moreover this is the only way to realize the actual price of any stock. If traded with well knowledge & bull's eye then it can be good source of income
