mavrix33 | If I were to buy 10,000,000 shares of stock vauled at .0001 a share, how much did I make if it raised to 0.69? |
So thats Basically $1000 for 10,000,000 shares of stock. and the value jumped to $0.69 from $.0001. Additional Details Thats what I thought. I wish I had bought some of that SREA on 1 April. Dang! |

Well, if it cost you $1,000 to buy the stock, and each share goes up to .69 per share, your 10,000,000 shares are now worth $6,900,000. So you've just made a profit of $6,899,000 if you sold all that.
PS, If you made that much of a profit, you'd have to pay taxes on it. If you held the stock for at least 1 year you have long-term capital gains, which is subject to a maximum rate of 15%. If not, then it's short-term capital gains, which is subject to your tax bracket, which from making that much of a profit, would be pretty high.
One more PS, since you disclosed the stock, SREA, I did some checking on it. It's probably one of those "pump and dump" penny stocks that the scam artists are saying to buy, that that will be the next microsoft. The only people who make money on those stocks are the ones who are pushing the stock to raise the price on it. The scam artists do the pump, and then they do the dump. And people like you and me are left holding close to worthless stock, if they were suckered into buying.
I've attached a warning about it, that it is a scam pump & dump stock. |

If you paid (10,000,000 * .0001) $1,000 for the stock and it jumped to .69, you would have 10,000,000 * .69 = $6,900,000.
Not sure what stock you could be talking about. |

Take number of shares multiplied by price per share to equal total value.
10,000,000 x $0.69 = $6,900,000.00
Subtract initial investment of $1,000, for a total gain of $6,899,000.00 or 689,999,900% |
