If one can go into the present market trend, then it is surely understood that the Gold price is going up day by day and the Silver is on stand still or not moving high. It may also be seen that Gold rate has never gone down to more than a limited level. In my opinion, investment in Gold is not a bad idea and may not be in loss if not very high retun in a coulple of months. But your investment may not be a loss/waste, for Gold. This is my own opinion and not binding on you please. |

not in couple of month but in couple of years gold will give enough returns. |

i think it will only hedge you against inflation and devaluation of the dollar..
so if you buy gold.. you'll have just as much money as you do now.. minus the transaction fees.. when you sell it..
compaired to a dollar that's worth less than a canadian dollar.. and falling still.
so i doubt you will make money.. but.. you wont lose it either. |

Mistake #1 & #2 & #3 of new investors;
1. Investing in things they don't understand.
2. Looking to make a "killing".
3. Ask strangers (whose qualifications and motives can never be know), how to invest your money.
So to answer your question;
Gold and Silver will go up if it doesn't go down. This may happen today or in ten years. |

If that is all you know about investing, then you had better keep your $500 where you can watch it.
ANY REAL investor knows, you go into Gold or Silver as a HEDGE against a soft dollar... and NOT to make good returns. |

commodities or on a spree now. It is not a good idea to buy at a higher level. Even in the brightest of cases, u can only make some marginal profits; unless u looking it from a trading perspective. |
