The stock market dropped almost 1000 points since he was elected. Your right, there is a voter confidence relationship with who is elected. People, at least here in the US, are not confident that Obama will do anything but pump the welfare system with cash. Myself, and many others pulled our money from Wall street because of the election. That is my way of "leaving the US". Our close ties with Kenya should really help our position in the world.........what a joke! |

It will go up.
McCain's ideas about continuing spending $18 billion per month on Iraq and more in Afghanistan and paying by borrowing will disrupt the credit markets even more than they are now and will destroy the economy.
Notice that wall street has already spoken. About a week ago, when it became obvious that McCain had no chance, the Dow started to rise and is still going up today. |

No it wouldn't. The stock market is based largely on confidence, and if he is elected, that means people are placing their confidence in him, and that kind of confidence is good for the stock market as well. |
