The easiest way to remember is that dollars are worth about half as much, so takes twice as mush to buy.
In very rough estimates it's easy to remember that 1 Pound = 2 Dollars.
It's been about that for quite awhile. The dollar is losing it's value a bit faster than the pound is, so it will take even more dollars some day, but for now it's close enough. |
