If the pound strengthens in regard to the euro, that means the value of a pound is going up faster than the value of a euro, so you'd get more euro's per pound than before it strengthened. And previous responders are correct that it changes daily, up and down.

Statically seen, the Pound is stronger than the Euro, of course.
A Pound costs 1.45 Euros.

At the moment you get about 1.4 Euro for every pound. If the pound becomes stronger in relation to the Euro you will get more than this and if it becomes weaker you'll get less than this. The pound-Euro market fluctuates daily but usually not by a lot and the current trend is that the Euro keeps getting stronger against the pound (so you get less and less Euro for your money).
