There are still some small shop openings in a new retail development near me (http://www.bransonlanding.com/). I would like to set up a small shop for nice imported goods from various places. That means that I could trot the globe to find South American Indian woolens, African carvings, and some of those beautiful clothes that the Afghan women get married in (selling stuff sewn by Afghan war widows will be both a selling feature for Americans and a tremendous benefit for some very needy and forgotten people abroad). My travel expenses are tax deductible and I get to pick and choose among the really good stuff. |

Invest in a "INDEX FUND" in the NYSE as the potential for growth is great for you! Think about this and you can get some additional ideas from www.cnbc.com www.stockpickr.com The Index Funds are better than mutual funds due to the fees associated with such accounts.
The other wise investment is in Real Estate as it goes up in value over time. |

Foreign stocks. Specifically in China(short-term play) and Spain(long-term). I would look into utilities. Water utilities and electricity utilities will be the next "oil" stocks. Oh yeah, investing in oil is still overrated. They have historically underperformed the market. VE, TEF and DEO are my fav. stocks to hold long-term. And by long term, I don't mean two days, more like 10-20 years. |
