You should rather invest in a Mutual fund if you do not have time to research yourself and still want decent returns. Diversification is a key and since you want to invest only in one instrument, investing in a mutual fund will enable you to spread your exposure to more than one stock indirectly. 3 years is a long horizon and Nobody in this world can give you a single stock with guarantee that it will even beat the market.
