I really like guaranty bank. They have online checking and it is a free checking account.

I have ING Direct, Emigrant Direct, HSBC & good ol' Paypal. They are all about the same, Paypal has a linked Money Market but isn't FDIC insured, but has a Debt Card. HSBC has an ATM Card.

I work in a bank, and deal with other banks all day long. Honestly I do not know of any other banks that offer a savings without a minimum to open or a minimum to waive monthly charges, unless you have a checking with them too. Charter One does offer online banking with a savings, as I think TCF does too (but not positive).

I using ING Direct and have been with them for a few years. They have very competitive rates, I've never been charged any fees, and it's really easy to move money from your checking account when it's with another bank (as mine is). Plus if you open your account with $250 or more they give you a $25 bonus.
