Small investors usually cannot trade stocks directly with other investors. They have to trade through a stock broker company.
Basically, you need to open an account with a stock broker company. And this company will give you the means to trade stocks either through the internet or by phone through one of their representatives.
To get the best transaction fees for trading stocks, you need to shop around and find out which stock broker offers the best fees. And then open an account with them.
As far as I know, foreigners who don't live in USA cannot open stock broker accounts in USA. They have to find in their own country a stock broker company which allows people to trade in US stocks. |

Brokers on here wouldn't be able to "advertise" here and remain ethical. So I'll recommend someone else good. Try Raymond James. They're a brokerage firm, relatively good. Look 'em up online, call them, ask for a broker, he/she will open an account with you, and you're off and running.
Caution: "Investing" in options is very risky. You will make a TON of money on some and LOSE a TON of money on others. Over time, options are like Vegas.....you will eventually lose all your money. Invest in stocks enough to secure your retirement, then "play" with options. If/when you hit one big, walk away. Just like Vegas. Trust me.
Option Traders and Gamblers have one thing in common, they both lose in the long run but have a heck of a ride!!! |
