Alexander | Interested in buying stocks. Is it possible to make $100 turn into $10,000 -15,grand in a year? |

Others have commented on the extreme improbability of this, but it may be worthwhile to contemplate the underlying logic.
Suppose an investment exists which is reasonably likely to be worth $10-15K in one year, and the owner is preparing to sell to a buyer for $100. Wouldn't you immediately offer $101? $200? $5,000? In an efficiently functioning market, there are a near-infinite number of potential investors bidding on any particular security, and it simply is not possible to obtain such spectacular returns as you aspire to, after accounting for risk. |

Any thing is possible, but that is not probable, other wise I would sell the secret and make more than 15-grand a DAY! |

It is definitely possible in theory, the catch is it would be called gambling, not investing. If you want to know how to do it technically, you need to either trade highly leveraged investments such as options and futures or trade very frequently (aka daytrading). Despite many legendary stories, almost all options traders and daytraders lose money. Both services are designed to benefit brokers by bringing in huge amounts of comissions. Unless you are willing to spend some serious time, money and accept seemingly low returns, just put the $100 in an IRA and get an index fund. You'll have your $10k... in 40+ years. |

Realistically, no. It is not possible. |

Yes, but its a low chance in stocks. Perhaps a new idea or business that will blossom quickly. |

With recession looming, you'd be better of shorting rather than buying stock in 2008. |
