I am a little puzzled by (the clothing industry). I am uncertain how that relates to the remainder of the question.
In both China and India one can invest in each of those industries mentioned though purchasing stock in the various companies. Many are actually traded on the American exchanges. For example CHL (China Mobile) is the largest cell phone company in the world and its stock is traded on the NYSE. In infastructures ACH is the 2nd largest Aluminum company in the world and is traded on the NYSE. |

From what I recall, some of India's are available for foreign investment, but China still has governmental ownership of most of their utilities of this sort, except perhaps in some of the Special Economic Zones (e.g. Hong Kong, Macao). |
