okay well my parents just bought a vehicle on ebay.
the seller wats us to deposit the money in the bank for an account in poland supposably being the primary ebay account.but my parents are afraid of fraud.the guy sounds like hes foreal but my parents are fully convinced

How much to pay? Your parent can try by paying the seller the amount that pay pal will cover if lost or fraud. Send them a part at a time until it completely being payoff. |

ebay has a lot riding on people not getting ripped off. I would follow ebay's recommendations for such a transactions. Use ebay's recommended form of payment, most likely this will be Pay-Pal. Never send money to foreign bank.
Also is the seller rated? Sellers that sell often on ebay will earn a rating score. |

Ebay is safe when you go through Paypal because they will help you if a problem came up.
Where in the world is this vehicle if the seller is in Poland?
I dont even understand why anyone here in the USA would want the cash sent to Poland.
It just does'nt sound right to me.

No, Don't do it. Why in the world would the account be in Poland for a car sold in the US? Poland is in Europe... Common sense. Ask the person/seller for their address in the US, and a phone number and give them a call, as this is very suspicious. I am assuming that your parents are going to pick up the car? They can pay the seller when they meet to pick it up, or when they deliver the car. If they need to pay before they meet in person, and if the car is worth alot of money have your parents use an ESCROW service, that is THE BEST thing to do. The second best thing is to pay with paypal, so your parents can get their money back if the car is not delivered, but even with paypal, if the seller withdraws the money and close the paypal account, your parents would be out of luck. You don't pay for a car bought in the US to an account in Poland. |

I don't know if your parents are obliged to buy the car, but sending money to Poland does not sound kosher. Hopefully they can get oyut of the deal if they explain all this to eBay. |
