Is investing $20,000 and getting 7% back monthly a good deal? Is it even true?
A new business called Best Diamond Funding Corp. (bestdiamondfunding.net) had a grand opening yesterday. They claim earnings of 7% on any investment over $5000 with a 12-month contract.

They invest in realty, construction etc.
They also claim to be recognized by BBB and Realtor.

Does anyone have past experiences with something similiar?

philhoonoseitall
If it opened yesterday, keep your money somewhere else for the next year.

Then have a look again.

If they still excist give them a try.

Give them your money today you will loose the lot.

Theres an old saying.

If it looks too good to be true.
It is too good to be true.

scam or ponzi scheme. there is no way to get 84% a year without substantial concern of loss of principal.

Find something that is more reasonable and stick to it.

stephenweinstein
No, its not true. The clues include:
BBB deals with consumer issues, not investments
Realtor means a member of an organization of real estate (land and building) brokers, also not related to investing in a company.
There is never any guarantee that anything that just opened yesterday will even be in existence in 12 months.

Even if they do keep the contract and give you 7% per month for 12 months, which is unlikely, that is still only 84% of what you invested, so you would be losing 16% of your investment.

I doubt that's 7% "monthly." Its probably 7% annually with dividends/interest paid monthly.

I never heard of this how ever if its 7% a year maybe its ok and you may want to look into it but 7% a month every month sounds to good to be true.

Sir Percival Blakeney Baronet
Its way too good to be true. I can't even get an 84%/year gain unless I was extremely lucky in the stock market.

A monthly return of 7% is only available in dreams or in illegal enterprises. I would stay well away from anyone promising something so ridiculously "lucrative", most likely it's a scam of some sort...

BestAdvisor
Frankly speaking their website costs less than $20. Probably it was made by kids.
Send them your $20,000 if you want to be scammed. :-)

However you could put $20,000 in the bank at 7% per year (not per month) if you want to make a safe investment. Contact me through my profile for more details.

Hi, my name is Nathan. I have the same doubts as you have had. I drove down from Montrose, Colorado to check out their business. I went to their meeting, office, and talked with several investors of the company.
They all think that this is the best company EVER! The investors believe in the company, and are giving everything they have to it.
Also, my friend Alex, and his mom are investing in the company. He has been investing for four months and his mother for FOUR YEARSat a huge 10%. I talked to several people, there have been 0 negetive responces at the meeting, also on the BBB agian 0 negative responces although an "F" rating because they advertise 7%, also from my friend 0 negative responces. They, sales representatives, showed me proof of there checks going out to individual clients (that gave them permission) for the last 3 years. Sounds pretty convincing.
So, I am going to give them a little chunk of change. $30,000, and see what happens. In fourteen months I should have the initial investment doubled. I dont know how this is possible, but they are telling me that they buy about 6-7 foreclosed homes a week in bundal deals from the bank at half price, with cash!, so, if you live in CA and are foreclosed on, you know who is going to come knocking on your door!
Also, they are opening their own bank, with the FDA regular 3% - 5% annual rates if you want a secured investment. All loans are currently unsecured at 7% interest compounded monthly, so if you cant live without the initial minimum of $5,000, dont even think about it.
Also, I am planning on opening up a bank account and my own office in order to show the whole world if this is a myth or not!
IF, and I mean IF this works, I am going to start selling for the company. The company has been in business for 7 years, only 2 years ago they turned into a Corp. wich is probably what you are talking about with the GRAND OPENING.
Also, on another note, if you decide to invest, in 14 months your principle has doubled, so, take out your dividend, and everything else the company gives you is all gravy baby.
14 month risk, that is not bad at all. My dad does subdividing, and his prodjects are millions, and they can take more than 3-4 years!
I personally think that they would have more investors if they lowered their rates, but while they are making this kind of money I am going to just jump on the wagon.
14 months, thats all. I will have doubled my investment. Also, on another note, if you do think something is going on and the company is going to go bankrupt, just take your money out. There is going to be a 7% fee for immediate withdrawl, but that should be the dividend from last month that they just gave you! If you speak spanish and want to go to one of there meetings, just give them a call! So if you have any questions about how the investment is going email me nathangreninger@yahoo.com. I am actually going to send them a check on Monday April 19th 2008.
