I believe the growing population and the fast development in Iran make it a country with many opportunities. Provided there will be no large scale sanctions or military tensions. What do you think ?
Probably not. With all of the nuclear tension involving Iran (not just from the pressure of the US, but the UN in general) it seems highly unlikely that there won't be some sort of sanction in the near future. Plus, Iran's involvement in a lot of the ongoing conflict with the US and shady rumored connections to funding Middle East terrorism makes them appear to be an unstable country politically which is never good for establishing a strong economy. The GDP of Iran mostly centers around petroleum products. After sanctions are imposed, the lack of other products will make them a risky investment.

ya better not because bush will have some of his cronies torture your a**, then its off to git'mo where you lose all your rights and never be tried.
Zed
i wouldn't do that if i were you, given the miletary tension from the US over its nuclear bombs...
You need the iraq war over and when there are no pressure whatso ever from US in iran, only then you can invest...otherwise you might as well invest in china or india, they are fast growing economies

No, its too politically unstable. They could seize assets at any time and leave investors with nothing and no way to recover it.
