Is it a good time to invest in the stock market, if so what would you suggest?

I think AAPL is a good buy at the price it's at now. Most of the larger banks that were unaffected by this melt down yet dropped due to over selling are a good deal, JPM/JP Morgan Chase, WFC/Wells Fargo or brokers like MS/Morgan Stanley and GS/Goldman Sachs. Retail stores like WMT/Wal-mart, TGT/Target, COST/Costco, KR/Kroger, MCD/McDonald's are good buys because people look for bargains in hard times. JNJ/Johnson&Johnson, is a good buy below $65 And you can't forget energy stocks either, there's always going to be demand for energy. Specificly solar, wind/hydroelectric turbine, coal, geothermal and (nuclear) in the near future.

Food companies. When money is tight people give up paying for plenty of items but not food. Plus they eat at home more often.
Kellogg's and Kraft are my two favorites.

If you have 0 dollars right now in the stock market and are looking to invest, right now is a great time to buy due to heavy discount prices, but if you are already an investor right now is not good to move any funds around unless you need to.

Well In my opinion I would invest in some companies because it is cheap and everyone is taking their money out. The stocks are bound to go up some time. Also if you invest in some of the smaller companies if or when there is a market crash your stocks are likely not to go down because when the market crashes it is usually just the big companies.

yes, but only with well known names like; coke a cola, nike, adidas, they still have the money right now, but do little increments of money.
