Yes and no. I've spoken with some top investors and they, just as myself, are looking at this bearish market and economic down turn as a way to profit soon. This is the time where you need to be doing copious research because as soon as this market hits a bottom, the great companies that only suffered because of the overall market decline are going to be the first off to the races. I want you to do the fundamental and technical analysis on a few companies. MO, INTC, AAPL, PG, ATT, CX. These are a few examples of companies that have accelerated earnings, decent ROE, good management, and international sales. When these bottom out, look for huge gains. If you would like me to teach you the ins and outs of fundamental and technical analysis, i'd be more than happy to teach you if you do not already know. just email me

the best time is right now.

It depends largely on who you are investing in. While the entire market is subject to downturn, there are always stocks that defy the odds.

If you're investing in an index, now is probably not a good time. There are no signs that things will improve soon. GW Bush is asking for taxpayers to bail out the economy, who knows what this will do to the market?

It depends on the merits of the company which someone
is considering. I am not a legal or investing expert, but
in the past I have evaluated the seriousness of people
by their capacity to make decisions on alliances
prior to the flood of an accepting crowd. In other words,
by the time the crowd knows who to invest in, it is too
late to make any high yield investments due to the
volume of investors and the strings attached.

Yes.

You won't lose any money if you pay for my ideas. (I can put that in writing)

During the '80s market free fall, the only products I had invested in that seemed to go up were health & beauty (i.e., hair dye, makeup, etc.). People still need to look good for job interviews--and maybe even more so when the economy goes down!
Another good bet would be ramen noodles or cheap food products (think of what you'd spend your money on if you were broke).

The best time to invest is always now, even though the economy is in a decline the stock prices are low. If you invest the same amount on a regular basis ( for example $50 a month ) without fail you will see that even while the economy goes up and down the real secret is to keep a steady habit of adding to your investments. Use a strategy and ask for advise from a qualified source, diversify to stay strong and start yesterday
