Is it too late to play this market? How Should I?
So I've had a lot of cash on the sideline for the past few months waiting for the market to come around and some of the issues to be worked out. Now today the market is up HUGE!! I was so mad at myself!! Do you think I missed paying this market? What do you think is next?

More importantly, is it too late to play this market? How should I play it? I feel I missed a big up side and don't know if now the risk is downside or what. I'm looking for the next year or 2 but would like to get in on a dip...which was Monday! So I don't know if I should wait for more downside "dip" or to get in now.

A nobody
Every day is a good day to trade as long as there is volume in the market. It is never too late to "play" the market.

According to the wording of your questions, you have a lot of studying to do before you go into the market.
If you knew what you were doing, you would not have missed this move, or you would have had positions that would have benefited from the move

Here's some websites for you, take the time to study

Its never too late to invest, markets fluctuate constantly. And contrary to want mr. market melt down thinks, I'm optimistic about the future state of the economy. Ask anyone and they will tell you to buy low and sell high, and there are still a lot of stocks that have not fully rebounded.
Regardless of the state of the economy you need to do your homework before purchasing any stock. Good Luck

You're giving too much credit to the minor market fluctuations. You say you want to invest, but you talk like a trader.

The Chosen One
i started with zecco.....still use it, still very happy. only ones with no fee for stock trades, and no minumums. all the others will charge you fees for trading, but compare and see for yourself!

Don't buy stocks. This is the beginning of a 5+ year market meltdown.

I think that the market will rather play you. Most people making money in stocks don't use their own money.
If you use your own money its called gambling on wall street.
