Is now a good time to buy stock in Intel?
I am planning on buying about $200 worth of INTC tomorrow and buying an additional $50 worth each month. Is this a good plan or have I missed the boat (Intel dipped for a bit and now is back up on a three-month high)...

i would say no because of AMD. Their chips are cheaper (and some say better) intel got hammered in the past three months and if you really want to go that route i recommend microsoft when Vista hits the stock will pop.

I would rather buy Cisco at this point. Here is a link to an article at top10traders.com that discusses the coming conversion to a new internet standard that will be huge for Cisco and HP.

I think Intel's time has come and gone.
I would feel better with microsoft, but its going to be pretty flat for a long time, at least until its new operating system comes out
I don't trust oil or tech stocks,in general because they are so volatile
I have done OK with garmin this year, but its pretty high now, and i think its time to pitch it.

yes,

Intel-intc Right now i think is a good guy, However the reason why i like intel is becasue they are a low risk stock,

They have been within 7 dollars within there present 22 bucks

THey are a solid company,

If i were you I'd throw more money down than 200 bucks if you can, Like 1000, I mean if all youhave is 200 then do it, But you a fee everytime that you buy and sell

Dont listen to super stud, stocks are a good thing to invest in. (just do your research before hand and don't go crazy)

The type of stock buying you are talking about is the safest way, and more profitable in the "long term" not short term.

altho i havnt done alot of research on intel, i have to slightly agree with betitodetroit in buying microsoft shares might seen the better option. But then again, not everybody knows what way the market is going to go.

Do your research, spend 1-2 hours looking up news websites on any articles relating to intel (or microsoft)
