Is the rise in sensex beneficial for IT companies in India?

Thunder
IT segment was left out in the Sensex rally, only when it fell recently IT also joined together. As long as $ is weak, there will not be any kind of celebration. Only IT (Income Tax ) department will gain, as lot of people would have to pay more gain tax due to Sensex hitting the roof. So lot of investors are coming out of IT stocks and picking up RPL, RNRL etc.,

Sulabh Jain
not at all coz now they are loosing revenue and because of this people are loosing their jobs and also the recruitment for the fresher is stopped.
Being in a IT company now led the ppl in dellima that they can loose their without nay reason and wen an IT company set up an infrastructure in India lot more jobs other that s/w are created related to like cleaning, cafeteria, security, drivers etc.
although i am in indian i should not say like that but its because of the IT companies the GDP of India has increased only.

derebail the indian guide
well IT companies failed failed to see the declining trend of dollars, they should re negotiate deals with their customers. The government is artificially holding up the free fall of the dollar to around 25 levels. It will benefit the Indian economy if it comes to that level because the way crude oil prices are rising if dollar falls to that level we will be defacto paying only 45 dollars per barrel. It will be 50% less burden on the Indian economy. Sensex rise or fall does not have any bearing on IT companies, except that people who have invested will encash.

Rise in sensex has nothing to do with that of the companies.

If the Share prices of IT companies are rising that will be beneficial to them, as their Market Cap is increases accordingly.
