hey dude cool down.
you are right tht it is affecting most to rich people but it doesn't mean it not affecting the middle man and lower class people.
u must be aware tht inflation is at its high of last 15 years,the prices of everything increasing ,petrol prices increased,because of tht now middle class have to spend more money for basic needs, this is the way middle class afected.
and when a bank or company flops then thousand of people loose their jobs which has around 50% middle class people 30% lower class and 20% high class people.

Yes. Today you don't have to be rich to be in the stock market. Many people who work no longer have defined pension plans so all they will have when they retire is social security and what they have been able to put into 401k or roth. If you think the financial crisis is only affecting the rich you need to start watching cnbc or reading the paper or online news. Everyone is being affected. |

i work in a brokage firm, as stock market is down and u lose ur client...then the brokage firm lay off people...i m affected...and i m not rich.. |

a lot of "rich" people will be affected ,but if you are a millionaire with for eg 5 million dollars and you lose 75% you still have almost 2 million dollars ,so what you still can eat.
Now if you are someone on minimum wage and living paycheque to pay cheque working in a restaurant or a bricklayer building new houses and then the "rich" people decide to tighten their belts and not eat out or buy new houses then who is really going to hurt ,if you are one of these people cutting back is not an option and you may well wish that"rich" people had money again. |

its going to make me some money, thats all, i sold all my shares in favour of liquidity in january. i started buying back this week. in some cases at under 10% of what i sold for.
as for your parrents, ofcourse they will be effected, everyone is effected by economic downturn. its just that consumers wont feel it that soon, companies feel first, consumers usually feel the downturn 1 year after the stock markets go down.
