Other than times when he is stuck with cash he doesn't invest in stocks exactly, he buys companies cheap. So he cares less about the stock price going up or down as long as he believes the company will make a lot of money in the long term.

Now that he manages so much money he gets deals others like us can not get.

I would have bought GE preferred stock if they were going to pay me 10% plus give me stock options (warrents). Some say he lost money on the share price but in reality he is getting 10% per year and can wait out the share price.

Buffet is an extremely patient investor. He didn't invest since the 2000 stock bubble, and before, because he thought the stock prices were still too high. Now, eight years later he is buying.

That is very very patient, and smart.

He's a good long-term investor. His wisdom is most-easily seen through his letters to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders every year.

If he was rich but stupid, eventually he'd lose his money. Instead he's getting richer most year (this year excluded).

Warren Buffet is one of the great investors of all time. All I can saw is he's makes more money everyyear.
