How much safety do you wish for your monthly income? Some CDs pay interest monthly, but the return is minuscule. There are quite a lot of closed end mutual funds that pay dividends monthly, but there is no guarantee that what they pay today will be what they will be able to pay tomorrow. Here are a few that are available. Muni-funds which are federal tax free: PMX currently pays 12%. NMD 12%. OIB 10%. There are many others in this category, each paying dividends monthly.
Among those that pay taxable dividends there are currently some which are paying truly remarkable returns, which leads one to believe that the dividends will soon be cut. AOD 31%. PHF 42% (junk bonds), SCD 20% (some investment grade bonds), PPT 12.5% (mostly investment grade bonds), MIN 8.8% (average AA bonds), RNP 14% (preferred stock and REITS. This one sells currently at a 20% discount to net assets) |

I would recommend forex trading as one of the options you have.It is already a trillion dollar market.Forex trading is extremely risky as well.
Foreign exchange trading can become a source of consistent income when it is traded as per the strategy.
