A 100% return on investment in 7 days is nothin short of a miracle.But yes,if you are ready to risk your invested 500$ then day trading is worth the risk and the ur target profit.
Watch the markets like a hawk and get some insights on the momentum stocks for the week.Engage into vicious day trading and follow it up with booking profits as and when you get them and re-invest them.
If gods are with you,you might make enough but then there are all the chances that you may end up losing what you had.Thats what makes the stock markets scary.
I wish i followed the nyse and dow, otherwise i would have tried suggesting some shares.

This is a very high risk gamble. LandAmerica Financial Group (LFGRQ) is a company under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, selling for 12 cents a share that still has a lot of holdings, a hearing at 10am tomorrow (Monday) will determine which way this will go. Unless you have some way of getting information from the future, you can't double your money in a week. Even loan sharks don't expect 100% return on investment in 7 days.
You can make $500 by selling your stuff or pawning your jewelry. However, you'll find that most of your used stuff won't sell for much, I'm sorry to say.
If you don't believe any of us, go to the papers from a week ago and try to find a single stock that has doubled in price in one week. I doubt you will. |

Well first, there shouldn't be a rush in the market, especially right now, but if you do, you can loose what you have and be left off without nothing.
Actually I'm at the same situation as you, but I have lil more time.
But right now, I'm looking for ETFs. UYG, URE, UYM etc.
The reason why, because it's not a good time to invest in individual stocks right now and I'm sure you know why! So its better go with ETFs I believe.
Also, depending on your trading platform I do not think your broker will allow you to Day-Trade with $500, because according to Law - Day-Traders should at least have $25,000.
