Overstock.com: Safe?

I'm thinking of purchasing a digital camera from overstock.com. It's $100.00 cheaper than it is at Best Buy. But, I was thinking that since their stuff is so much cheaper, that maybe their products are defective? Anyone have experience with something like this or Overstock.com?

two things, I purchased a mattress topper from them and it was defective. I contacted them and they sent me a shipping label to return it once they received the mdse. they credited my credit card. I think they are reputable. I am satisfied with several things I have purchased from them. The other thing is that I read that there are different versions (of the same model camera) one that is made for asia and one for the u.s. I don't know what the difference is between them but maybe it affects the price and that is why the camera is cheaper.

the few things i've purchased there, I've had really good service. The prices are reasonable, and the items shipped fairly quickly. No problems. I recommend that site.

I have made several purchases from overstock. They have ranged from media items to electronics to bedding. I have never had any issues with them and they are legitimate. They often also have good coupons at http://24houredeals.com/overstock-coupons-71-mer.html to save on that purchase. I hope one of those coupons works for you.

If you're concerned about rip offs, check out Rip Off Report. its a site where people complain about businesses who fail to resolve problems.

I have honestly never bought from OverStock.com, but I've seen them in business for long enough. And I have had friends who've bought DVDs, BUT, electronics can be tricky, so doesnt hurt to be careful.
