I was wondering, do certain pennies have great value? Like, for example, I heard 'Wheat pennies' (pennies with wheat on the back) are worth something; does anyone know how much? Or, are there any other valuble pennies? Thanks!
If you really want to get into this go to the bookstore and pick up a coin collectors and price guide and you will be surprised how some of these pennies are worth thousands of dollars.

Age and rarity contribute to the value. But most pennies are worth just that, pennies.

Yes it is true wheat pennies. Also pennies that where stamped during World War One. There are three different mints where pennies are stamped. The Philadelphia mint being the most common. The other two mints stamp less coin. So they would be more valuable.
