There is no symbol for Rupees. You just use the short form Rs.

$ sign is only for dollars US. Indian Rupee does not have any sign assigned to it as yet. We simply put'Rs.' which may be treated as sign. Usually they INR to denote 'Indian Rupee.'
And to buy stocks in Indian Stock Market you may buy with any amount for any single stock quoted in the stock market. There is no minimum limit. Go ahead and buy as little or as much as you want.
