My friend and I were talking the other day and he said that he would like to open up a strip club down by the college in our town. As we continued talking he said that he would like the strip club to be for plus sized woman. He said that most men don't really like the girls that are real skinny and most like women of plus size. He also said that a lot of bigger women aren't confident in the way that they look and that it could actually help with their self esteem. I don't know if this is a good idea or not. What do you think? Please explane why or why not and please, serious answers only. |

There are clubs for "dominants & submissives", gay clubs and clubs for "swingers" to hook up. So why not a strip club for men (or women) who enjoy a fuller form? I have said for years now (usually as a punch-line -- yet half-seriously, too) that if I ever had the financial means, I would open such a club in Las Vegas and call it Phatt Chicks. That was long before the Phatt Pharm clothing line was launched. (I had the name first! Dang, I should have copy-righted it or trade-marked it or whatever you do! I could be rich!) Oh, well.....
Let's face it, we live in a sexually diverse culture. Just because many men would reject such a club I don't doubt that there is a market for your "product". The reason I would select Vegas for Phatt Chicks is that you would have a large cross-section of the adult population in a city that was created tfor the express purpose of providing an outlet for adults to "let it all hang out". Besides that -- it's Vegas, Baby.

I've met a lot of confident plus sized women. I've been one myself and feel a lot better and more appealing than before. I'm no longer obese but at 150lbs and 5'6" tall, I'm a spanking babe. I don't feel the need to be 'small'. It's not natural. I also know a lot of guys that feel it's too bad I'm married.

I believe what you are talking about is more of a boudoir type of club. Where the women are full and voluptuous like the pin up girls from the 40's and 50's. I'm built like that and several men find me attractive. However, all men are different, but most of the ones I've met appreciate curves.
I'm not sure how many voluptuous women you could find who would actually be willing to work your club. The stripping in boudoir type of club is different from the lap dances of today. There are usually themes for each stripper. Maybe even poetry reading. It's more about fantasy than your every day pelvic grind and jiggling.
It think if done in a very tasteful and classy manner your club should be a success. Good luck! |

I really think you should do a survey for this. Maybe even put this question on Yahoo! Answers poll. Soon, you will find that most men would not pay for this......I really don't think men will go for a plus sized strip club..unless they really like bigger women. |

it would probly work well in certain areas. i live in the south and the guys here all say No Fat Chicks, but then they marry the faT girl who they claimed they wouldnt even talk to. ye guys say they dont like em fat, and many dont ,but their are some who really do but are too embarresd to admit it. |

Uh, your friend isn't correct that "most" like women of plus size. The friends I've had with plus size women say that she wasn't "that big" when they met. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try! If the Club doesn't have as much success as the ones with petite girls, you can always "go with the flow" and hire skinny babes. I dated a big girl once, she was sweet and we had fun, but sexually she was a turn off because I'm not that big a guy, and need a gal my size. So I wouldn't go to your club except for a laugh, but then I don't do strip clubs, I get more embarrassed by looking at the goodies of a stranger up close and personal than they do by me seeing them....Good Luck! |

The women would need to be more than entertainers - i mean guys may pop in as a goof but the girls would still need to put on a show and drunk guys commenting on their fat would tone down their enthusiasim. I have to disagree with your friend. The women I find sexy are by no means plus sized. I can see that maybe your friend doesn't think skinny women are sexy, and maybe there is a large component of men who feel the same, but that doesn't mean they find plus sized women sexy either.
That leaves those who are in the middle as probably the most sexy. Not real skinny. They've got the curves in the right places, but nothing extra. If I had to describe that woman in one word, it would be "fit." |
