delina_m | Should I buy euros now? Do you think the Euro will get more expensive, stay the same or go down? |

Investors are in prudent mode since euro has reached its year high at 1.42 last week. From my technical analysis, I see the euro on its way down for the next few weeks. There is a potential that euro/usd (currently at USD1.41=1 euro) exchange rate will fall till 1.37 for the next few weeks --- You might want to wait till it has fall down to this level before investing in Euros when it is ready for another bull run.
Eventough Euro is a good currency to invest in long term wise, I suggest you consider other commodity dollars like Austrailan dollars, New Zealand or Canadian. These Currencies are among the strongest at the moment. |

Few financial numbers have been less predictable, over hundreds of years, than exchange rates between currencies. There are various forces that tend to drive the rates beyond where they "should" be, followed by a sudden dislocation in prices, where the exchange rates "snap", and there is a sudden relaxation in the markets, often leading to overcorrection.
In the present case, the value of the Euro aganst the dollar will likely continue to rise beyond all reason. Then one day, it will fall, and fall rapidly to a value that seems unreasonably low. It is extremely difficult to predict when this will happen. It could happen tomorrow. Unless you're George Soros, the best bet is to buy Euros when you need them. |

suggest u buy some or a start pack @ ur banks (go by daily exchange rate), AAA (sell by packs @ a fix rate), or @ the airport (if last minutes). The best is ur banks.
You'll need it for small purphases like drinks, food, tips, etc...
But once you get there use your debt card for cash withdraw and use credit card for purphrases. But of course, notify your banks or credit card company that you'll be traveling, so they won't put hold on your account thinking that someone stole your card.
Euros are getting more expensive, dollars doesn't worth much now a day... |

At some point, the dollar will rise against the euro; the US still has a stronger economy than Europe. But there is no way to tell when this will occur, and if you want to score in the foreign exchange market, you not only have to call the turn in the correct direction but at the correct time. You don't win if you go long Euros against dollars and the dollar recovers soon. |
