Should I major in finance?
I'm at the point where I have to decide what my major is. I am in the commerce program, and I would like to major in Finance, but i'm afraid it's going to be too challenging? Mind you, i'm attending a great university (McGill), so i'm clearly smart. I'm just a worrisome/cautious person, and sometimes make decisions just to be on the "safe side" which i think i should get into the habit of no longer doing.
At first, i wanted to major in marketing, because it's pretty easy, but rumor has it, it's not a very lucrative major.
Majoring in some field is completely depends on the interest.
Don't go on some one's news. You are going to suffer in future if you take some course and you got to work on it in rest of you life, with or without you interest. And more you can stick to it without interest for longer time.
My suggestion is, take some time and think about where your interest is. Whether marketing, Finance or HR or whatever and select that one.
