Should Microsoft move to unseat Yahoo!'s Board of Directors?

madsmaha1
They should try...that was foolish of Yahoo to reject Microsoft's buyout proposal..it would truly benefit Yahoo in the long run..

When someone wants to sell their business, fine. But I dont ever believe anyone should be forced out by another business that doesnt want to sell. I dont know the details on this thing you are referring to, but I do know if Yahoo doesnt want to give up their business, it shoulndt be forced . We are losing so many of our rights today, with the big forcing out the little guy. Wake up america... Start standing on the rights in your constitution and dont allow the govt to keep changing the constitution till you wake up one day and realize there isnt even a constitution still in effect.
You can see the handwiring on the wall, just as God predicted so very long ago.
Thanks for asking.

Even "gospel" here ....!!!

How do you ask when things have not been settled as yet ?
Yahoo has rejected the take over bid ....!!
Even then, barring a few on the top, generally the most of the board members are kept intact.
Let us see what happens. But, question is :-
Will Yahoo remain as friendly as it is now ??

piet lul
why would they do that,

They'd need to use a very powerful mole. Yahoo told 'em to 'cram it''.

No, a hostial take over would only benifit goog. The point is to compete with goog.A hostial take over would take a long time and only hurt mfst and yhoo chances to compete with goog.

corporate governance does not allow - let us first understand corporate governance.

Colin
No i don't think that would be the right way to go.

Its unethical, and possibly illegal, not that ever stops some inscrutable individuals.

If the offer was good enough, the board would probly accept it and Microsoft would not have to consider unseating the board of directors.

I`m still surprised in the present worldwide economic times we are in that Yahoo can afford to shun the biggest offer in corporate history.
