I think you might be mistaken in your assumption that BSC will be around. I think it is doomed, bankrupt, caput. A transfusion from the Fed is the only thing keeping it from expiring right away. In fact you may want to stay away from anything that is the least bit financial. The wonderful house of cards of credit is crashing down. |

Absolutely NOT. SELL SELL SELL or you may lose more $$$...If you want a play buy JP Morgan (quarter position and scale in over next 15 to 30 days. |

Share takes time to recover. It implies that you should wait and see. They could (an possibly would) drop even lower. If you see them recovering, through their formal reporting, then think about it.
The stock market is not a lottery, take it slowly. Some analysts are predicting that the slow down will be with us for a year or two.
If this is true, then a lot of buying opportunities will present itself. |

I agree with Muncie to a point. I don't think the FED will let BSC go down. JPM may well end up with them, but that isn't a union made in heaven either. I am a trader and will probably play the peaks a valleys game on Monday.. but own it for more than 10 minutes.. no way.
AND PLEASE if you are not an experienced trader DO NOT try to trade it. It will be a tricky trade, one that if you are not used to it will have our breakfast on the floor. |

We had a similar thing happen in the UK with Northern Rock.
They had to go to Bank of England for help.
They are now in the governments hands and all shareholders are thinking they have lost everything.
Its usually ok to buy low sell high but I would not touch them..
On the other hand you may double your money in a few months..
Nobody REALLY knows do they? |

I am glad I do not own BSC.
I heard they will be bought out by JPMorgan for 2 dollars per share.
When a stock is going down fast you should wait until it slows down to buy.
Also I usually do not put any more than a quarter of my assets in any one stock.

Markets tend to over react to either good or bad news.
The question is, did all the sellers come out of the woodwork on Friday or will there be more on Monday? |
