The interface is excellent; nice graphical display to see trends or just hover over a spot to get an exact number. You can go back 10+ years on companies that have been around that long.

Definately try Yahoo! Finance.

If you are an inexperienced invester, you should get a broker or financial adviser to help you since it can be very risky. You should diversify your investments, analyse trends, look at beta values for different companies etc.

There are several places you can go. The one I use is through yahoo. go to finance.yahoo.com search for your stock, when the summary comes up click on the picture of the graph on the right edge of the page. You'll be able to easily figure the rest out from there. I would suggest using their charts in beta, you'll see the link.
