If your investment horizon is only 4 months, I suggest you don't buy stocks. Your time horizon is too short. If you're not committed for at least 5 years, you should not buy stocks.

although the financial sector has taken a huge shaft, I still think you may want to wait until 1st quarter 08 earnings come out before looking into that option, to kind of see where the credit situation lies.

If VISA IPOs soon, I probably would want to hook up on that. When Mastercard IPO'd a year or so ago, the IPO price was around $38 per share. It is now over $200+. I would like to believe that VISA would rock Mastercard, but I am sure that the initial target price would be a bit higher on an initial buyin.
