there is no good time to enter in a stock market if you want to make money from stock market stay invested for a long period not less than three years. Don't listen expert views and comments for a particular shares. pick some good large cap stocks eg: BHEL, L&T, Infosys, Bharti, Cipla, SBI. Don't waste so much time in stock market for research and analysing stocks. Pick some good one and leave it for a long period. Do not borrow money and invest in the stock market if you have surplus amount invest 50% in stock market, 20% in some good mutual fund(FT india Prima Plus, HDFC Prudence Fund), 20% in gold and rest 10% in bonds. |

Not individual shares (or mutual funds for other reasons), because companies are folding left and right. You are best off with indexes or ETFs and it's time to buy into those. |

No, now is a bad time to invest in the stock market for the long term. The market hasn't yet priced in all the bad news, because everyone expects the government to save the economy. And that's not likely to happen. Socialism usually doesn't work well in a capitalist economy.

If you are interested in long term investments then this is the perfect time to INVEST.
Do not invest in short time as the market may fluctuate and make sure that your investing for more than 8 months and choose the stock correct stock.
Be choosy to pick the stocks and try to invest biggies of the market and the stocks that can bounce back to normal along with the economy.
