Trading in volatile markets - which provider is better?
Also i face another problem with icicidirect.
That is accessability - i cannot access the site many times. especially when the market is volatile. pages takes many minutes to appear. website is very slow. login screen itself takes too much time. That problem i faced with icicidirect. i am fed up with them so i am looking for a new broker.

Can anyone suggest me which one i should take?.

I am not worried about brokerage. I want very good connectivity only - even during volatile markets.

Please suggest a good broker for online trading which ensures better connectivity.

I use Scottrade and have been satisfied with them. They also have good customer service. I believe they are a bit cheaper than Schwab. But Schwab probably offers more features. You should visit both websites and look around before making a selection.

Actually when the markets are highly volatile the websites are freezing coz of restrictions and mark to market margins . If you are comfy with brokerage don't change it

My suggetion is KOTAK Securities

do your own research, take a course on investing, and then talk to your financial institution and trade online.....

I have used Schwab's StreetSmartPro for a long time. They have great phone support if you do want to talk to a person, in addition to the great software.

many browser based solutions are with these problems. And many solutions are worse than the one which u are using.

But i think the Geojit online trading is pretty good. I think this is because of their limited no. of customers that their servers have fast response time. Also the brokerage is lesser when compared to ICICI direct.

don't try to trade markets yourself, get expert help, either a money manager or mutual funds,
and no website works durinn volatile times.
