I think that most people selling these things are people who want to get out of it. You see this things everywhere which means it is hard to find a place to let you put them in. Most places take a commision for allowing the machine owner to put it in their lobby, the next time you see one, ask the store owner what kind of profits he gets from the machine. That will tell you how well they do. |

Vending is pretty good money, IF you can find a good location that isn't claimed.
99% of the money making spots for vending machines are already occupied. What is left is either not profitable, or too risky for most peopel to bother with.
If you want to get into it for the least amount of investment, go to Sam's Club/CostCo, or some similar warehouse store taht requires a membership. They normally sell vending machines. Then just aproach the owner of wherever you want to set it up, they will usually let you for a cut, a flat fee can mean more money for you, but more risk of losing money as well.
Good luck. |

That is false. I've been in the vending business for 23 years. It's a cutthroat economy and you won't be seeing that type of profit.
Unless, of course, you think you can sell Snickers bars for $9 a pop! |

Location, location, location that is the key to vending machine business. Start with one location and see how it does, when you find a good spot for it, then expand. The other side of the equation is getting your raw materials cheaper, look for discount candy stores and sales. You can make ok side money at vending, but start slow or it will burn you. |

Location, Location, Location. That is the key to running a successful vending company. If you don’t have a great location you have nothing. Also the person who said that you would be making $1000-$2000 per month is full of it, to be making that kind of money you would need very good locations and to find four or those would be very hard. I have 14 vending machines and my 4 best wouldn’t make that much. |

Vending machines are a go bet if you get them placed someplace where they will get a volume of people. If you have a good location and can keep them stocked, you should make out pretty good. |

you can buy them at sam's club or maybe other wholesale clubs. ask businesses if you can put them up and of course cut them a little deal with the profit. make sure you understand the legalities with your local tax office though. don't leave them outdoors though. someone will molest it or steal it. |

Well it is not always safe because people could hack into the machine if it was not securly built so you will need to get a specialist to come and make it. And you will have to find a popular store to put your vending machinine in but ask the first and find a way to take it to the store. |
