Check with the Office of the Secretary of State for the state you live in, as to whether there are licensing requirements to be a stock broker. I'm sure there are and they can tell you the requirements. Most have on line information.

good luck in the field!

Shoot for a slightly larger town with some Fortune 500 companies. Top goal would obviously be New York City.

New York or Chicago would be best but you could go to any city where brokerages firms are.

SBryantDenn
You can go anywhere. Most of the top investment firms have offices in most major and minor cities. To be a real player in the stock market though, you have to go to New York City. That's where all the financial action is.
